National Club Industry Association?
The National Club Industry
Association (NCIAA)
is the Official Music Industry Trade Agent representing the Professional Club Dj
and the Nightclub Industry. We Have served as the national governing
body of the Club Industry since our re-formation in 1999. Headquartered in New
York, NY, USA, the NCIAA is a National Association dedicated to the
promotion and awareness of the club and electronic music industry.
Established as a non-profit organization NCIAA is staffed by DJ’s, Record
Executives and Club Owners for the benefit of providing the best
representation to all professionals in the industry.
The Association represents Club DJ’s,
Promoters, Record Labels and Night Clubs nationwide, and maintains the
largest, most comprehensive source of DJ and Club information in the world.
Providing our visitors, members, and partners with the latest resources,
technology and information, available to the industry and it’s professionals
today.
How Did the NCIAA Get
Started?
IT ALL STARTED AT A
TIME WHEN COMPANIES WEREN'T FORMED IN GARAGES.
DJ’s Were.
It was
back in the good old days - 1989 - when DJ Trance, and a couple of friends
first formed the National Club Council. They
yearned to provide Club DJ’s who played for more than a few drunks in a bar,
with the resources and connections to make it in the competitive club industry.
So, they hacked together a pretty cool web site
called the National Club Council. It wasn’t long before the idea caught on and
soon, a few thousand of their DJ friends and favorite Clubs had joined them.
Before they knew it they had to redevelop their web project and formed the
National Club Industry Association of America, NCIAA for short. (As you can see,
they suck at naming bands, songs and web sites).
Today,
NCIAA is the one place to go where actual DJ’s and Promoters are watching out
for you - not suits watching the numbers. You have your own online press kit
where you can post all your info and MP3s, and of course, get e-mail from your
fans and potential club promoters.
The
NCIAA mission is simple - for every artist with a record deal, on FM radio, or
in Tower Records - there are a thousand talented artists chasing that dream and
a million new music fans who will never get to hear their music. We're changing
all that - bringing these artists and fans together, getting the music out and
giving new music fans a cool new way to discover new music.

internet connection, and start listening to the NCIAA Dj’s and the new music of
our TrakHeadz Record Label Partners. If you've got work to do, we suggest you
launch NetMix Radio and let your favorite DJ play in the background while you
work.
At the
heart of it all, NCIAA is about letting the music speak for itself, and letting
the artist speak directly to their fans. We remain committed to the independent
DJ’s, Artist’s and Record Labels and will continue to bring you the future of
music.

Represent only DJ's:
No. Currently we represent DJ's,
Clubs, Promoters, (Both DJ & Club Promoters), Record Companies, Producers,
Suppliers, Manufacturers and Service Providers. If you don't fit into any
of these categories, let us know, and we will create one for
you.
